I know others are aware of the actor & character connections with ST and WM3. I just wanted to pass this on to anyone who is not.
ST: actress, Winona Ryder relationship with Johnny Depp. WM3: Johnny Depp was a big, influential supporter of Damien Echols, perpetrator. I saw somewhere they share 4 of the same tattoos.
ST: the S4 character Eddie Munson, flaunting devil-like, satanic, warlock demeanor. WM3: Damien Echols, dressed in all black, known to study black `magic and witchcraft.
Not connected to the WM3 but I found interesting, is the ST fictional town of Hawkins, and the filming location of the fictional lab/hospital at the Hawkins National Laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia.
Thanks for reposting this livestream, Chris! Dark, but shinning the light brings out the truth. I found a few more name connections between Stranger Things (ST) and the West Memphis Three (WM3). The first is a given.
ST: child character, Will Byers, trapped in the underworld. WM3: Christopher Byers, child victim buried in bog.
ST: character Miss Kelly, in S4. WM3: Jessie Misskelley, perpetrator.
ST: filming site, Druid Hills, Atlanta, GA in S3-4. WM3: Robin Hood Hills, crime location. Note WM3 Druid bog burial ritual. ST: character Robin Buckley.
ST: character, Dustin Henderson. WM3: Dustin McDaniels, lawyer. McDaniels partner was Patrick Benca. ST: villain Vecna. (I know it's a stretch. LOL)
For me, this shows the Duffer brothers, or writers were drawing from the WM3 story.
